Submitting your artwork to Crussell Fine Arts for representation is a simple process. Please follow the instructions listed below:
1) IMAGES
Submit one digital image each of your ten best pieces of art, which were completed within the past three years. No work older than three years will be reviewed. If the work is three dimensional such as sculpture please include one additional image of that piece. No slides please.
2) DISK
Submit your work on a standard size disk in high-resolution 300dpi files no smaller than 5”x 7”. No slides or printed material will be reviewed. Clearly print your name, address, email address and phone number on your disk.
3) LISTING OF WORK
Use Microsoft Word or Excel to create a digital file listing your work. Include the size of the work, the year the work was completed, the materials used and the value of each piece.
4) RESUME
Include an art resume, which describes your educational background, awards, grants or other recognitions you have received in the field of art.
5) ART SHOWS
Include a roster of all art shows you have participated in during the past ten years.
6) JURY FEE
Include a non-refundable jury fee of $35 in the form of a personal check or money order payable to Crussell Fine Arts.
7) JURY REVIEW
All submitted work will be reviewed once each month. Artist will be notified by mail regarding jury decision. Artists who are selected will be invited to a personal interview to review original work. Upon the completion of this interview the jury will make a final decision.
8) SUBMITTED DISKS
All submitted disks will be maintained on file with Crussell Fine Arts and will not be returned. Please do not send your only copies.
9) COMMISSIONS
All work will be available for lease or sale. A consignment agreement will be executed between the artist and Crussell Fine Arts for this purpose. In the event that the work is sold, Crussell Fine Arts will retain a 45% commission. If the work is leased, Crussell Fine Arts will retain a 50% commission.
