Although primarily defined as a painter, it is imperative to me that I reserve the right to use whatever medium and technology best communicates to the viewer. As a 21st Century artist, there lies a challenge of continuously seeking out new ways to say new things concerning content and form. Many contemporary artists struggle with the idea that they must conform and confine themselves to one particular medium. This results in limitations which can be broken through the experimentation and exploration into new forms of expression.
